Born and raised in Madison, South Dakota, I am a lifelong South Dakota resident and 4th-generation South Dakotan. In 2009, I graduated from Madison High School and enlisted in the U.S Marine Corps, serving as an Infantry Machine Gun Squad Leader with 1st Battalion 5th Marines. I was deployed to the Pacific with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and I worked to build relations with the Japanese, Thai, and Philippine forces.

In 2013, I finished my service and began work as a paraprofessional at Madison High School, later transitioning into a Tech Support role. In 2015, I joined the 211th En. Co. located in Madison, SD, as a combat engineer. After three years of service in the South Dakota National Guard, I ended my military career with a total of 7 combined years of service. During this time, I extended my service as a State Representative for the 8th District of South Dakota (Elected in 2014 & 2016) and founded Wollmann Productions (A multimedia film and photo company), which my wife and I ended in 2023.

In January of 2017, after some terrible choices, I resigned from the South Dakota Legislature. I own these mistakes fully and am thankful for those who brought me to that realization. On October 7th, 2017, I married my wife Emily, and we most recently relocated to Sioux Falls, SD. In 2018, I began work for the Madison Police Department as a patrolman, and I ended full-time police work in April of 2023 to pursue an aviation career. In 2020, I completed my Bachelor's Degree thanks to the incredible staff and resources at Dakota State University.

As of September 2025, I am a Captain for Alpine Air Express flying the BE1900. I am a Commercial single & multi-engine pilot with an instrument rating, Gold Seal CFI/CFII/MEI certifications, and high-performance, high-altitude, and tailwheel endorsements. I also manage my own LLC, Aerial Ally, as a contract pilot and flight instructor. During my off time, I enjoy ultra-distance cycling, being outside, and spending time with my wife Emily and Goldendoodle Emma.

I am an individual who enjoys finding boundaries and pushing manufactured limits through many facets. I find enjoyment in the journey and processes of all things. Throughout each of my careers, what I have enjoyed most are the people and my ability to communicate with all walks of life. I’m very thankful for all of my experiences, good and bad, and for those surrounding me, whom I owe the credit for any successes.
